What to do first
If the store offers an update, install it through that store. If it only offers Open and multiplayer still refuses, collect version details for Pazu support rather than deleting your world.
This is a cautious diagnostic checklist, not a guaranteed fix. We have not reproduced the problem or verified a multiplayer server outage.
Why this guide exists
A Google Play review dated reports being asked to update when attempting multiplayer even after updating the app. We reviewed that report on September 27.
That is one player’s report, not a developer-confirmed defect or evidence that the problem affects everyone today. The review does not identify a reliable fix. We do not use it to diagnose your device or claim that iOS has the same problem.
Compare what each device actually shows
For a session with a friend, ask each player to check their own screen. There is no need to exchange passwords, verification codes or personal account details.
- Identify the device and its official game store.
- Record the installed Avatar World version exactly as shown; do not substitute a web article’s version.
- Open the official store listing and note whether it offers Update or Open.
- Install an update only if the store offers one and let installation finish.
- Open the game again and record the precise action and message if it still fails.
- Note whether ordinary solo play opens normally, without resetting anything.
Use the iPhone and iPad steps or Android steps. Matching version numbers are useful evidence, not a promise that a session will connect. This review did not verify cross-platform multiplayer compatibility.
Do not mix up three different problems
Store installation error
The download or update itself fails. Use Apple or Google’s official help for the store error.
In-game update message
Installation finishes, but a multiplayer action still shows a prompt. Send Pazu the exact message and app version.
Missing paid content
A missing purchased pack needs the restore-purchase support route, not a claimed multiplayer fix.
Avoid steps that risk your saved world
Do not uninstall the game, clear application data, reset your world, switch purchase accounts or install a modified APK as an experiment. This wiki cannot back up or recover your game. Do not buy a pack or subscription just because a video says it fixes multiplayer.
A generic checklist cannot prove the cause. Stop when a suggested action would change account access, payments or saved data, and ask the account holder or Pazu support to help.
Prepare a useful support message
This original worksheet helps you describe the problem without guessing its cause. Copy it, fill it in privately and use Pazu’s official support form. Nothing is submitted by this wiki.
- Device model, operating system and store used.
- Installed game version and whether the store shows Open or Update.
- Exact error text, action that triggered it, date and time zone.
- Whether solo play opens and which safe checks you tried.
A screenshot may help, but remove names, friend codes and other personal information first. Do not paste passwords, payment-card details or identifying information about children into a public comment. This page is not an account-recovery service.
A few good questions
Is this a confirmed Avatar World multiplayer bug?
No. A September 6 Google Play review reports the symptom. It was not reproduced here, and this review did not establish an official defect notice or a confirmed fix.
Does Android need to be version 2.163?
Do not infer that from this wiki. Version 2.163 is an iOS store entry. Our Android web snapshot did not expose a verifiable build number.
Will restoring purchases fix multiplayer?
The publisher’s restore route concerns purchases, not a documented multiplayer repair. Use it only for the relevant purchase problem with the account holder’s help.
Can the wiki connect to my game or fix my save?
No. The checklist, bookmarks and copy button work on this website only. The wiki does not access game accounts or change saved worlds.
Sources
Source checks are dated individually. A source check is not an in-game test.
- Google Play — September 6, 2026 player review ↗Player report, not publisher confirmation
A review displayed under Audrey reports an update prompt while entering multiplayer after updating. Review lists can reorder or vary by region. One report does not establish a current outage, a confirmed bug or a working fix.
