Start with the store on your own device
Use the official Avatar World listing for the device you play on. An update seen in a video or on a friend’s phone is not proof that your store is offering the same build. The dated platform comparison records the two stores separately.
The public iOS listing reviewed on September 27 showed version 2.163 dated September 19. The Android listing showed a September 17 update date and rooftop notes, but no build number we could verify. Do not enter 2.163 as an Android version based on this wiki.
Update on iPhone or iPad
Apple’s current manual-update instructions use this route:
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your account photo or My Account at the top.
- Open App Updates.
- Find Avatar World and tap Update when it is offered.
The wording can depend on your system version. Use Apple’s current instructions if the screen differs. Once installation finishes, open the game and check the feature again.
Update on Android
Google’s manual-update route is:
- Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Choose Manage apps & device.
- Under Updates available, choose See details.
- Find Avatar World and tap Update if it appears.
Google notes that some updates may require a device restart. For store errors, follow Google Play’s help. A web page’s updated-on date does not guarantee that every device has an Update button.
Choose the right missing-content route
The store will not update
Use the platform help above and note the exact store error. This is different from an in-game message.
Multiplayer still asks for an update
Record the installed version and where the prompt appears. Follow the multiplayer update-message checklist.
A purchased pack is missing
Ask the account holder to check the publisher’s restore-purchase route. Buying it again is not an update procedure.
Keep your saved world out of the experiment
Do not delete the app, clear application data or reset your world just to force a new location to appear. This guide does not establish a reliable backup or recovery path for your setup.
Compare the platform, installed version and named feature before changing anything else. Pazu’s official support can investigate a continuing problem. A useful private note contains the device model, system version, app version, exact message and the action that led to it.
A few good questions
Why does the store show Open instead of Update?
It is not offering an update to that device at the moment. The public listing alone does not establish why. Compare the installed version and use platform support if the store seems incorrect.
Should I reinstall to make a new location appear?
No reinstall is recommended here. Seek help before any action that may affect saved data; the wiki cannot restore your world.
Does the wiki know the next update date?
No confirmed next-release date was established in this review. Pazu directs players to its announcements rather than a guaranteed weekly schedule.
